Pulkovo 1 terminal
Pulkovo 1 terminal handles passengers of domestic flights and flights beyond the Russian Federation (to CIS and far-abroad countries). In Pulkovo 1 tickets and baggage check-in is held on the 1st floor of the terminal. Passengers of domestic flights are checked at the desks 1 – 10 and 21 – 25. Check-in desks 11 – 20 are used for international flights. Passengers, flying to Moscow by STC «Rossiya», are checked at desks 11 – 20. Two round-the-clock check-in desks (0 and 24) were opened in 2009 (for passengers without check-in baggage).
Depending on the type of an aircraft, flight direction and airline, check-in can start:
- 1-2 hours before departure (domestic flights);
- 2 hours 30 minutes before departure (international flights).
Check-in does not finish later than 40 minutes before departure, except as specifically set forth in the agreement with the airline. You are advised to specify the exact time of beginning and end of check-in at the representative office of the airline.
To check-in you need to show your ticket, passport and all the things you are planning to transfer. After check-in you need to get the ticket and the baggage tag, boarding pass, passenger’s excess baggage ticket (when transferring excess or oversized baggage) and hand baggage.
