On arriving at the airport passengers often face difficulties concerning baggage transportation. Some passengers have just a bag or a suitcase; others have a bicycle or snowboard, some passengers check in their pets. Passenger’s baggage must not exceed maximum weight and dimensions set in the rules of the airline. The standard weight of free baggage transportation depends on the type of an aircraft and passenger’s service level. The generally accepted standard weight for free baggage transportation for economy class passengers is 20 kg., for«С» passengers — 30 kg. The norm of free transportation is written in the flight coupon. Overall dimensions of 1 baggage piece must not exceed 50x50x100 cm. Maximum weight of 1 baggage piece must not exceed 32 kg. Both checked in and not checked in baggage (hand baggage) is included into the standard weight of free transportation. Excess and oversized baggage as well as animals, needs special checks in. The check-in zone provides baggage wrapping service. You are advised to address the representative office of the airline to specify the rules of transportation of such baggage.
