Fueling Company

Sovex ZAO is a fueling company founded in 1997 that uses the facilities and resources of what once was Pulkovo Airport’s Fuel and Lubricants Unit.

Sovex assures smooth aircraft refueling operations at Pulkovo Airport throughout the year. It also prepares and assures the quality of aircraft fuel and lubricant formulas at every stage of the production process.

Sovex operates two fuel and lubricant depots, one for backup, the other for routine refueling operations, with an aggregate tank capacity of 32 000 cubic m, including 24 000 cubic m reserved for jet fuel.

The company operates 13 refueling trucks with tanks sized from 20 000 to 40 000 liters. Sovex uses a system of base refueling stations (BRS) including three feeding lines supplying fuel to aircraft docks at Pulkovo 1. The BRS system covers 18 aircraft docks, and is centrally controlled.

Sovex serves over 200 Russian and international airlines.
