Sergey Vladimirovich Emdin

Sergey Vladimirovich Emdin is a Director General of Northern Capital Gateway LLC from April, 1, 2010. Sergey Emdin has vast experience in managing of big manufacturing complexes. From 2001 Mr. Emdin has been holding managerial positions in governing companies of the group “Severstalavto”. In 2002 Sergey Emdin became a member of board of directors of one of the leading generating companies of Russia “Irkutskenergo”, JSC. Being Director General of the company from 2005 Sergey Emdin was responsible for managing of 12 thermoelectric power stations and 3 hydroelectric power stations, and also for 20 subsidiaries with the total coal production equal 15 millions tons per year. Successful manpower policy of “Irkutskenergo” company’s direction allowed to manage staff equal 25000 workers efficiently.
In 2008-2009 Sergey Emdin was a head of generating company “EvroSibEnergo”, Ltd. Under Sergey Emdin’s direction the company’s strategy was worked out and realized new directions.
Mr. Emdin’s experience in the field of strategic projects and knowledge of business processes are convincing contribution in realization of development project of Pulkovo Airport.

Michael Richter
Chief Operations Officer, Northern Capital Gateway LLC.
Michael Richter has vast experience in operational activities of an airport. In his last position, he managed Fraport AG’s ramp service department with a workforce of more than 2,500 employees and a budget of approximately EUR120m. The ramp service department constitutes a core airport service of Fraport and provides an extensive range of services for aircraft of all types.
Under his supervision, the department significantly improved its performance, increased customer orientation, service quality, spirit and efficiency. Michael Richter did not only successfully head this change process, but actively participated in the restructuring. This direct involvement, active communication with suppliers, customers and partners and his interest in continuously expanding his knowledge greatly contributes to his leadership skills. He has proven strong competence in managing changing and difficult environments. His experience and know-how will provide a strong basis for achieving the challenging targets and implementing operational projects at Pulkovo Airport.

Andrea Pal
Chief Financial Officer, Northern Capital Gateway LLC.
Andrea Pal has a wide experience in implementing different infrastructural projects worldwide (BOT and concession). Last years Andrea Pal was an operating director of the engineering company with the revenue of 70 million euro and staff of 1600 persons.
Prior to this, in 2001 – 2009, she was senior vice-president in Fraport AG responsible for Fraport AG’s global portfolio, which generated up to EUR700m revenue and consisted of up to 12,000 employees.
As manager of global holdings, she has strong capabilities in strategic and financial development in different business environments. Not only did she control various cost-efficiency and revenue-enhancing programs in companies, but also has she successfully negotiated several project financing contracts for airport projects. Furthermore, Andrea Pal has been Executive Board Member of international airports and airport service companies. Her profound strategic and financial knowledge as well as her exceptional intercultural skills will be of fundamental importance for the efficient and profitable development of Pulkovo Airport.
